disappointed

I chose to recert my National Registry by exam and tried to use this book to help prepare. The information presented in this book alternately contradicted itself and contradicted other sources that I attempted to use for clarification. There are review questions at the end of each chapter, but the answers are not provided in the book. You have to access the publisher's website to get the answers. You can only do this by typing some sort of security code into the website. I rented the book, so it was not in the original packaging--hence, no security code and I could not get the answers to the review questions. Multiple phone calls to Amazon and to BradyBooks and no one could help. Brady told me that they don't sell/give out the codes separately from the book. What a scam. I miss the days when a book was a self-contained resource and you did not need web support to use it.

Decent book

The information in this book seems good but it also seems to be lacking some of the "essential" topics in the NHTSA Transition instructor guidelines. Still yet, I believe I would purchase it again and may purchase some for the EMR, EMT, and Advanced.
